We were just informed (on 2/3/2010 by  Rahnda Rize) that there is a new open-mic venue that happens EVERY Friday called “Hip Jazz Rhythm and Words” The Series.  It is held a spot called “My Place” and its located on 6630 Limekiln Pike (West Oak Lane area?).  From 9pm to 12am. It is described as: “cozy, intimate, and very, very dope.”  The host is a sista named Bubbling Brown Suga. Costs – Love Donation.
