Broad Street (Broad and Parish) 8 to 1am Every 1st and 3rd Weds of the month.  NOTE – Before going you may want to contact them at hiddensoulweds@yahoo.com (or call the restaurant)  to make sure its still going on, they were on a hiatus briefly and are slated to return September 29th.  Live band lots of beautiful, fun sistahs and brothas.  It starts at 7:30pm to 12am (Costs $10).

Soul Food is an open-mic an jam session held every 3rd Wednesday in Philadelphia’s (East Falls / Manyunk section) at the Sole II Soul Restaurant located on 6139 Ridge Avenue.  Hosted by Infinite Life. Cost is $7 or two for $10. Held from 7:30pm to 11:30pm.

This is currently one of  Philadelphia’s most widely attended open-mic and entertainment event.  For May 2010, the Harvest will be held  on May 12th at The Arts Garage doing a listening party for the Nas and Damien Marley “Distant Relatives” album.   More info and updates at www.spokensoul215.com.
